These cups are too fun! I always liked making Bratzlies - a Swiss cookie - with my mom. We made them around Christmas time and would pass them out to friends and family. Fun, unique treat!!
ha ha how funny! great idea . I liked to prepare sugar cookies with my mum :)
How funny! We also liked making bread and cinnamon rolls with my mom!
Those cups are so much fun and so is your blog... I'm one of those who check your blog often because I LOVE your ideas! Great work!
I enjoyed making popcorn cake with my Mom growing up... my Dad couldn't eat wheat (etc.), so these were his favorite cakes for his birthday for a few years!! You can be so creative with them and it's awesome to have the kids help pick the "ingredients"!
Love the cups, so cute! I loved anytime my Mom would bake with me but I think my favorite was when we made sour cream roll ups. They had a rich, flaky dough with apricot jam and nuts rolled into it, YUM!

My boys would love these.
Way fun. My mom was always decorating cakes for our birthdays. She was so cleaver. I've tired to carry on that with my own kids.
Ihope I win. :)
I remember the "ants on a log" (celery with raisins/peanut butter) and "apple smiles" (two apple wedges for lips, with peanut butter and marshmellows for teeth!), and of course, the good ole' choc. chip cookie!
Cookie Monster Cupcakes! An internet search should show you what I mean.
My DS helped me make porqupine meatballs for dinner. He was so brave to mash the hamburger with his bare hands and has talked about it ever since.
we loved preparing for bake sales... the big treat was always ice cream cone cakes. Bake the cake in flat bottom ice cream cones. what kid would not like THAT?? :)

I love a great kid cup. I saw one that looked like it had a clear bottom but really had a picture of come crazy teeth. So funny. I loved making brownies with my mom so I could eat the batter.
Ooh! Pick me - pick me! No pun intended!
My favorite memory was snapping snap peas with my grandmommy on her front porch. Now I didn't like eating them so much - what kid does? But I sure do remember how fun it was to snap them and hear them ping as they hit the inside of the metal pan we put them in.
My favorite thing to cook with my mom was rice krispie treats, We would make them is shapes for the next holiday, heart for valentines, eggs for easter, etc. so easy to make and so good to eat!! What could be better!
My grandma and I would always make cheese cracker sandwiches for a special treat!
Very cute!
Everytime we had a sleepover at my grandma's we would make "pink popcorn" You can you any color I'm not sure why we always used pink :)
Those cups are the cutest!!
I would have to think as a kid my favorite thing to watch/help my mom make was monkey bread! It was always a treat...because you put it all together at night and then when you woke up the next morning you got to bake & enjoy it!! :-)
I love your blog and I loved to make monkey bread with my mom and yellow cake batter (we'd just eat it) and brownie batter! YUM!

I love the cups!!! I always looked forward to making water ski cookies with my mom. We got to help swirl the red, green and white dough. It brings back great memories.
Lovely! Do any of you ever make "ant's on a log with your kids?" You know, celery with peanut butter and raisens? YUMMY!
My favorite was "Hocus Pocus Buns", it involved rolls, cinnamon and sugar, and a marshmallow in the middle that melted during cooking making the "magic" hole in the center? I think I'm going to have to ask my Mom for the recipe...hmmm. Thanks for reminding me of the good old days.
How funny! And what a great blog you have.
I remember making brownies with my mom more than anything else.

My husband likes to cut a banana down the middle with the kids and place choc. chips inside. They then heat it in the micro for about 20 seconds (I believe) wrapped up in the skin.
Those are hilarious!! I love them.
I always loved making Oatmeal Chocolate Chipcake with my mom...she always let me lick the bowl afterwards as well!!! With my kids we love to make Peanut Butter Blossoms together.
